Oh my!  Have you ever visited the A Flock in the City blog?  If not, go over and check it out.  It’s one that I enjoy being a subscriber to.  In addition to farm musings, humor, and daily life, she shares some fantastic recipes.  As a matter of fact, the recipe that I am making today came from this blog post.

I am making a double batch.  There will be a bundt cake to go to the Homeschool Co-Op potluck lunch tomorrow and two loaf pan sized cakes for us to eat here at home.

I must admit that I have a pretty insatiable sweet tooth, but even so, I do like to know what is in my foods and that is another excellent reason to make up an easy recipe like this.  It can be a cooperative project for my kids, a delight to smell while baking, and a treat when it has cooled.  It just doesn’t get much better than homemade goodness.

I hope you try out this recipe and enjoy it.  Won’t you let me know how yours turned out?

Till next time,

Another Hatchett Job
