Quick Jewelry Tip: Layering

Sometimes, a good thing is, well, just not enough.  For example, you have 2 or 3 necklaces that you love that are similar (but not identical) in length.  But, none of them are just right for what you are planning to wear.  You want something different, special, BOLD!

I’ve got just the idea for you.  This technique can help you to get more wear out of your jewelry pieces, by combining them to create a richer, more dynamic look.

Remember that when you layer jewelry, you don’t want lots of blank space between the pieces.  The object is to make a larger, bolder single piece in appearance.  When done well, layering will give you a look that is so much more interesting that the sum of the pieces used.  Whether your choices add texture, color, or just up the glam factor, layering makes a bold statement!  Plus, layering is usually the first jewelry technique that people become comfortable with.  Nothing like an easy way to get more for your money.  Gotta love that part!
