Quick Jewelry Tip: Framing

What can you do when you want to make a simple piece of jewelry look more visually significant than it really is?  Want an easy way to pull together your look without leaving out your favorite piece of fine jewelry?  A quick jewelry technique that can solve those dilemmas is framing.

Just like a picture frame and mat are used to accentuate a piece of artwork, wearing a longer necklace that coordinates in some way with the shorter and smaller necklace, will accentuate it.  Consider the longer and/or bolder necklace to be the frame and the space between the two necklaces to be the mat.  In order for this technique to be effective, there needs to be at least a couple of inches between the ultimate lengths of the two necklaces.

Ultimately, the eye will be drawn to the central necklace and will accentuate–you!  And, since we are all created in God’s image, it’s fair to say that we are all wonderful works of art!Another Hatchett Job blog, vlog post
