LWW 2.1.12

Welcome back to this week’s installment of Living Well Wednesday, a meme hosted by the lovely and talented blogger, Natalie Collinson.  Each week, bloggers link up to discuss how they have fared that week toward reaching goals that they have set for themselves.  We hope you will join us over at Natalie’s blog and either participate with a post, or check out what we are up to this week.

While typing out the title, I was amused to find that the date is indeed a palindrome.  Okay, that’s the geek in me talking, but I’ve decided to go with it.

Well, I have made a few more baby steps toward my goals this week.  On Thursday, I attended a Bra Party (yikes, does that even sound right?) and was custom fitted for a sports bra for Zumba.  I am inching toward going to this class!  However, I realize that without proper support, I will be asking for trouble.  My delivery should be this weekend so I am gearing up to start next week?  Gulp.

After reading blogs of some friends of mine, I am coming to the understanding that I really need to possibly concentrate more on food choices and portion control.  In the past, I have tended to work more on one than the other.  I think that the solution for me will have to do with attempting to control both at one time.

In the never ending mountain of stress that life offers, DS15 seems to be having more of the mini-seizures and isn’t responding to medication as well as we had hoped.  We are likely looking toward having to have another multi-day EEG tests which are so miserable to endure.  We’re just playing that one by ear for now.

How has your week shaped up?  Are you reaching toward your goals with baby steps, too?

Till next time,

I’ve never heard of a Bra Party–sounds like fun! Do tell more please. Sorry to hear about more trouble for your DS; I’ll keep you all in my prayers.
Good luck on that portion control; as much as I’ve tried, I have to tell you that when it comes to some things (like cake), portion control is the LAST thing on my mind. Good luck with the Zumba thing too–its pretty popular out here, but I haven’t tried it yet.

Ann, I had never heard of one either. It seems to be a new phenomenon. I forgot the name of the company, but as soon as I can, I will post it for you. It was a very well done event focusing on great fit and comfort. I have never tried on a bra that felt so right from the first moment.
