Jamberry Nails April Special!

I am sure that many of my readers have realized that my oldest son, who is affectionately known in blogosphere as DS15 and/or my “Aspie”, was diagnosed as being on the Autistic Spectrum, six years ago and that diagnosis completely changed our lives.  His diagnosis is more specifically, High Functioning Autism/Asperger’s Syndrome and it means that he is blessed (and cursed) by being not as severely affected by Autism as many thousands of other kids are.  Blessed because he communicates, laughs, hugs, and makes friends through Boy Scouts.  Cursed because he functions well enough to realize that his social skills aren’t always on par with those of other kids and that he struggles mightily to make friends.  He, quite honestly, knows what he is missing and that breaks this Mama’s heart on a regular basis.

All that to say that Autism Awareness is a VERY big issue in my family!  We love our kids (even the neuro-typical ones, LOL!) and we will do anything to help them succeed and be happy.

A Mom and Daughter Support Autism Awareness with Jamberry Nails!

We have battled idiotic sterotypes and moronic people, doctors who have been horrifically uneducated, and backstabbing folks.  We have lost friends we have had for years and learned to be glad to have each other.  We take a whole lot less for granted around here.

I have been especially blessed to be able to work from home these last couple of years and spend time homeschooling my boys.  This has been especially rewarding due to the companies

that I have chosen to work with.  Premier Designs is a wonderful, Christian company that stresses family first and a biblical spirit of service and prayer.  Jamberry Nails has begun giving donations to 3 charities through 4 Nail Shield products to help to make the world a better place.  I was almost moved to tears when I learned that one of the first organizations to be benefitted by Jamberry Nails was the National Autism Foundation.  And, the released the product just in time for April, Autism Awareness Month.

Jamberry Nails is donating $2 for each set of Autism Awareness Nail Shields that is sold.  During April, I am matching that donation for any sales made through my personal business (in person or on my website).  PLUS, I will donate $2 for any Nail Shield sold through my business, regardless of designs.  So, during April 2012, every Autism Awareness Nail Shield set I sell will generate $4 in donation to the Autism Foundation and any other set will generate $2 for the Foundation.

Please help me to spread the word!  I’d love to make a HUGE donation in honor of my son, my love!  And please consider trying Jamberry Nails if you haven’t (I can send you a sample to try out) and even to honor these wonderful kids on the Autistic Spectrum this April.

Till next time,

Your Favorite Jewelry Lady, Premier Designs Jewelry
