If you ever find your self in Georgia with a little time to spare, you may want to check out the Reynolds Nature Center in Morrow. Yesterday, we went and did a bit of exploring at the center with the kiddos and had a wonderful time.
They have a lovely pond nestled into the woods, complete with ducks and one lone turtle, sunning himself on a log. I imagine that with more days with spring like temperatures, the frogs will begin to sing as well! The trail is about 1.5 miles long, the last half being a bit hilly, but not hard to walk at all.
I neglected to take any photos due to enjoying the time with my hubby and sons and also because I needed to go to the bathrooms (the actual center is closed on weekends, so no facilities) so I refused to dilly-dally around for long after we completed our mini-hike.
But, this was a fun outing and one that I hope we can make again soon. A Sunday afternoon walk is the perfect way to combine a bit of family time with some exercise and fresh air!
