30 Days of Faves–Day 6

Before we begin, I want to send a Happy Birthday shout out for my dear Aunt.  We’ll see you later tonight to celebrate!

Okay, today, I bring you the final piece in the Safari Collection.  It’s gorgeous!  It’s versatile.  It is the Safari Button Earrings (retails for only $36!)  This is an amazing and gorgeous ensemble, but all the pieces also work so well with the rest of your hematite and silver jewelry.

As a matter of fact, these button earrings are lightweight, yet feature the same gorgeous detailing as the Safari Enhancer and Ring.  And these earrings have a wonderful extra feature.  This is Premier Designs’ innovative Clip-Po back.  These earrings can be worn as clip-ons with a comfortably hinged omega back wire.  Additionally, they can be worn as traditional post earrings.  Just swivel the attached, hinged posts outward and insert into your ears.  The hinged omega wire back will serve to hold them in place without an additional backing.  Pretty cool, huh?

Would you like to know a little trade secret about this type of button earring?  How would you like to make it a bigger, bolder piece of jewelry?  Seriously!  Remember those simple silver round or oval hoops that you have hiding in your jewelry box?  Yes, those.  The plain ones.  When you put your beautiful, Safari earrings on, slide the hoop between the earring and the front of your ear.  The look becomes a stunning, door knocker earring set (remember Anne Klein?)  Sorry that I don’t have a photo of this look, but I am running a little short on time this weekend.  Maybe I can post one later.
